Short case study of a client who had to undergo a second operation as a result of his surgeon's negligence.
Our client went in to hospital for routine surgery to remove a large lipoma (fat deposit under the skin) from his arm.
Despite the lump being obvious, easy to both see and feel, the surgeon failed to find it and no feasible explanation was given for that failure.
Our client has therefore had to undergo the stress of a further operation to solve the problem, something which should not have been necessary.
With our help, he is claiming compensation for having to 'go under the knife' twice instead of once. The claim is being pursued on a No Win, No Fee basis.
